Distributor Brokers, dealers, resellers, or other persons and agencies engaged in the sale of parts for installation in type-certificated aircraft, aircraft engines, propellers and in appliances. Equivalent Terms: Supplier Distributor Accreditation The recognition of the distributor's quality system, by a recognised industry group. Document and Data Control The control, such as compilation, distribution, amendment and revision of all data used in the performance of aircraft, engine and component maintenance. Document, Maintenance Maintenance documents, in relation to an aircraft, means any of the following: • documents issued by the applicable authority for the purposes of the maintenance of the aircraft; and • documents issued by an organisation other than the applicable authority, and approved by the authority or by an authorised person, for the purpose of maintenance of the aircraft. |
