Advanced Vision System featuring SVS, EVS and HUD

Synthetic Vision System (SVS)
SVS is a real-time position, altitude and state presentation in virtual daylight Visual Meteorological Conditions (VMC) that provides a rich 3D visual depiction of the terrain. This synthetic view is attained regardless of the weather or time of day. The image is generated through the use of the Worldwide Digital Elevation Model (DEM) Terrain Database, precise GPS navigation and integrity monitoring sensors.

Enhanced Vision System (EVS)
EVS reduces the risk of controlled flight into terrain, runway incursions at night or during low visibility conditions, and increases overall depth perception in difficult operating conditions, often at unfamiliar airports. This third generation EVS is integrated with Rockwell Collins's LCD HUD. Together, the system enables decision heights down to 100 feet above ground level, thereby enhancing operational flexibility. EVS is available on HUD and Multi-Function Display (MFD).

Head-Up Display (HUD)
Pro Line Fusion incorporates Rockwell Collins' HUD system, which provides advanced active-matrix liquid crystal display technology and presents critical flight information in the pilot's forward field of view. Coupled with an advanced enhanced vision system and under specified conditions, the system enables decision heights down to 100 feet above ground level, thereby enhancing operational flexibility.
