‘Rotational Direction of Equipment’ means the direction of rotation as observed when looking at the drive face of the equipment (usually described as ‘clockwise’ or ‘anti-clockwise’). ‘Rotational Speed’ (engine) means, unless otherwise qualified (e.g. propeller rotational speed), the rotational speed in revolutions per minute of the engine crankshaft or its equivalent. ‘Rotational Speed’ (propeller) means, unless otherwise specified (e.g. propeller rpm), the speed in revolutions per minute of the engine crankshaft or its equivalent. *‘Rotorcraft’ means a heavier-than-air aircraft that depends principally for its support in flight on the lift generated by one or more rotors. *‘Rotorcraft-load combination’ means the combination of a rotorcraft and an external-load, including the external load attaching means. Rotorcraft-load combinations are designated as Class A, Class B, Class C and Class D as follows: a. Class A rotorcraft-load combination means one in which the external load cannot move freely, cannot be jettisoned, and does not extend below the landing gear. b.
