Input Characteristics
Quantities describing the tracker input information in terms of the Mode Of Flight, the Plot Quality parameters etc... Tracker performance can be measured for Constant Input Characteristics, referring to the tracker input being constant with respect to Mode Of Flight or Plot Quality parameters.

Institutional Training Training that is provided in an establishment designed or designated specifically for training and staffed for that purpose. Instrument Approach Procedure A series of predetermined manoeuvres by reference to flight instruments with specified protection from obstacles from the initial approach fix, or when applicable, from the beginning of a defined arrival route to a point from which the landing can be completed and thereafter, if a landing is not completed, to a position at which holding or en-route obstacle clearance criteria apply. Instrument Approach Waypoint Position fixes that may be used in defining RNAV approach procedures are the Initial Approach Waypoint (IAWP), Intermediate Waypoint (INWP), Final Approach Waypoint (FAWP), Missed Approach Waypoint (MAWP), Runway Waypoint (RWY WP) and the Holding Waypoint. Instrument Flight Rules Properly equipped aircraft are allowed to fly under bad-weather conditions following instrument flight rules.

Instrument Landing System
1- The approach aid employing two radio beams to provide pilots with vertical and horizontal guidance during the landing approach. The localiser provides azimuth guidance, while the glide.slope defines the correct vertical descent profile. Marker beacons and high intensity runways lights are also part of the ILS.
2- A system consisting of a transmitter at the runway and receiver in the aircraft to allow low visibility or automatic landings. Especially useful under bad-weather conditions (IMC).
Instrument Meteorological Conditions
Meteorological conditions under which the outside view is restricted in such a way that aircraft control and navigation can only be done using special flight instruments.
