Training The planned systematic development of the knowledge, understanding, skill, attitude and behaviour pattern required by an individual in order to perform adequately a given task or job. Training Course Detailed information on objectives, participants, instructors, scenario, content, and tools and method of a particular training, and the mechanisms for its application. Training Event A set of actions (instructional events) identified in the training plan (and later in the training program and in the student timetable) as the elementary unit. Training Event Plan Document used by an instructor when preparing and providing the training. Training Gap The training required to bring students from their present level of competence to the level identified in the training aim. Training Objective (Performance) Clear and unambiguous statement of what a student is expected to do (Performance) with the minimum level of acceptable performance (Standard) and the conditions under which the performance is to be carried out (Conditions): PSC. Training Objective (Terminal) What a trainee is expected to accomplish upon completion of training. Training Plan An outline of the training requirements, methods of achievement and time scale for achievement. It provides an earlier more general view than a day-to-day training programme. Training Programme 1- Training material to gain the required knowledge and skills Job-related set of training modules.
2- An implementation of the training plan in terms of training events set out in a chronological sequence and showing the time allowed for each, the place, the features of instruction to be used and the person responsible for giving it.
Training Objective (Intermediate or Enabling)
What a trainee is expected to accomplish in terms of skills, knowledge and attitude, at specified points in a training course.
Trajectory
1- A set of reconstructed 4-dimensional points (geographic position + altitude + time) defining the path of an aircraft through space. The points are calculated by using mathematical splice functions.
2- Time sequence of state vectors of an Object simulated or reconstituted from Multi-Radar data by some filtering technique, using all information available including the data after the moment of particular interest.
3- A generic sequence of 4D points that describe the profile of a flight. Trajectory Data (MTCD) It consists of: a trajectory, a system / tentative indicator, current 3D-position, flight data (MTCD), aircraft data (MTCD).

Trajectory Negotiation
In future ATC systems a negotiation process between aircraft and ground station is foreseen to make maximum use of the aircraft navigation capabilities. An aircraft's FMS will compute a most efficient (in time, money, fuel consumption or a combination thereof) 4D-trajectory and in a negotiation process with ATC establish its actual trajectory. ATC's role is to present alternative trajectories for an aircraft whenever the suggested one is in conflict with another flight.
