CHIP MGB  Metal particles in MGB  Reduce power, monitor MGB.P and MGB.T lights. If either illuminate, refer to appropriate column 
FUEL  You have less than 15.8 US gals.  If fuel is low, avoid large attitude changes. About 18 minutes’ level flight at max continuous power. 
FUEL.P  Pressure lower than .2 bar, either or both pumps.  If fuel pressure normal, one pump has failed, so continue. If zero, both have, keep below 5000 ft. 
FIRE  See above 
PITOT  Pitot system not energised  Check pushbutton, monitor ASI 
HYD  Servo system failure  Do not depress HYD Test button – depressurises the accumulator. Calmly reduce collective and speed to between 40-60 kts. Cut off hydraulic press with button on collective. Make flat approach and land, slight forward speed. 
MGB.P  Main gearbox oil at min pressure  Reduce power, land ASAP 
MGB.T  Main gearbox oil max temperature  Test caution panel to check light. If it does not come on, treat as oil pressure is zero. if it does, land and check oil level. You can fly to the nearest base if the level is normal. 
BAT T  Battery is at maximum temperature  Isolate the battery (pushbutton off) and land ASAP 
ENG P  Engine oil pressure  Reduce power and check indicator. If pressure is low or 0, check torquemeter – shut down the engine if it 

Engine Relighting
Light  Problem  Action 
is very low, and land immediately if it is normal. If pressure and torquemeter are normal, land ASAP. 
GEN  Either a DC supply failure or an overvoltage has been detected.  Test the DC voltage. Check the position of the pushbutton, then attempt to reset. If unsuccessful, loadshed and continue, ensuring you get at least 22 volts, and bearing in mind altitude limits when fuel booster pumps are off. Expect about 50 minutes from the battery by day, and 20 by night. 
BAT  Batt isolated from DC– not charging.  Check the pushbutton (on) and keep an eye on the voltage. 
HORN  Horn not set  Actuate pushbutton on control pedestal panel. 
DOORS  One or both bge doors unlocked.  Reduce airspeed to below 138 mph. Land carefully. 
ENG CHIP  Metal in engine oil.  Land ASAP. 

The normal ceiling is 13000 feet, but you can try above this.

Fuel Flow Rate Drop
Symptoms are as for engine failure, with the exception that NG stabilises at a low rate (less than 70%) after a few seconds. When this happens, establish autorotation and advance the fuel flow control into the emergency sector. You should get a rise in NG and T4. Keep the engine speed at 70% and increase collective if necessary to bring the rotor speed to 350 RPM. Then increase the fuel flow till the rotors are running at 380 RPM – trim collective and fuel flow for level flight at this speed.
